The war in Iraq has been dragging on for over five years and thousands of Americans have been killed. Our national debt is spiraling upwards almost as fast as the price of gas is increasing. Americans are losing their homes as the housing crisis drags on while millions go without health insurance.

Tennesseans deserve better leadership than this. It is time to end the war in Iraq and bring our troops home. Now is the time to ensure that all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care. Now is the time to take steps to reduce global warming and protect the environment for future generations. Now is the time for progressive political leadership in Tennessee.
